Not sure if this even exists yet but does anyone have a diagram of the Twingo and it's aerodynamics?

What I'm after is the high and low pressure points on the exterior of the car, specifically the front.

Sure Orb.... I mean Matt...;)

Erm a search of Google throws up exactly nothing.

Any reason why?

:p

if my 3dmax wasnt locked i could mock up a follow piece :(

safe to say though both RS and GT spoiler do f*** all though.

The diffuser definitely does.... ;)

didnt you know the f1's new diffuser is based on the twingo's one ;)

hehe.

if the RS's spoiler could be angleds about 5 degrees steeper it would have almost doubled the effect it does now :(

I beg to differ ;)

Because you can't double 0? ;) lol

Something like that. And a few other factors like the 133 isn't quick enough, aerodynamic enough, too much air passes under the car rather than above, the rear in standard does not need pushing to the ground etc etc.

The spoiler, like the diffuser is purely cosmetic. If anything, raising the angle of the spoiler by 5 degrees would create more drag thus being counterproductive to performance.

i've got a model of twingo but too lower poly count. may have to pick up a book and learn some BSc Animation, can only do rough particals but cant code them for air pressure. would be great to see a live model of air pressures at work. cant see renault release model or wind tests if they did any :(

I think aerodynamics are, generally speaking, quite low down on a designers list of things to do when creating a hot hatch like the Twingo.

More interestingly I'd love to see a wind tunnel of the 200's diffuser working.

I've got a some diagrams at work of the 200 but it's not specific or technical at all.

I hope they are better than my harness diagram ;)

No Matt was hoping with enough speed the Twingo would fly ;)
