Twingo Badge Covers

Hi all,

A number of you will already be aware of an ebay salesperson, underground_parts_limited, who has previously produced badge covers for other vehilcles such as Clios, Meganes and TTs. Unfortunately, there have never been covers made for the Twingo, which meant that owners had to opt for DIY jobs.

Fortunately, I've just received an email from Adam at Underground Parts who states;

Hi,

sorry for the late reply, i have been working on the twingo badge covers for some time now actually and they are finished and ready for sale. i just need to product the images and auctions this week, when i get time., as soon as they on ebay ill let you know,

If so how well do they fit as I want my badges white

This guy is the one I got my clio diamond covers from. They fit snugly over the top with 3m double sided tape. They obviously make the badges ever so slightly bigger to look at my not clio 4 massive!!! Don't know how helpful that is :-/

The covers are plastic and have to be made a tiny bit bigger then the badges themselves. Not only does this allow for easier removal if and when you wish to do so, but it also allows for better fitment, using the tape supplied to fit the cover to the badge itself.

Still, it's a snug fit and unless you get extremely close, i doubt you'd notice. I'll be purchasing a pair straight away, so you're welcome to wait for photos?

As cool as these are I don't really like the colour quality on Charlie's that she has on her clio. I'd recommend spraying these covers as that's what will be happening on the clio soon

I've actually ordered some black ones last night. I like the fact they are covers and the original badges can then be kept paint free

Aye? Well i might just take them to a bodyshop i have nearby, he does wrapping all the time and it was actually himself who suggested the idea of wrapping my original badges...

Heres hoping its easy!

May even just leave them black if they look good!
