Just for anyone out there that is on a bit of a budget, like me, and "needs" some roof bars... I managed to piece together all of the 4 bits I needed for 63 pounds off ebay to make up a thule set.

What i got:

- the black 761 bars (silver would look better but are silly prices for two metal sticks)
- the 1467 fitting kit (specifically made for the twingo - oddly there was one that went stupidly cheap on ebay)
- the 750 (now called 754 foot pack)
- a set of 4 thule bar locks - I don't trust people not to mess with my car :D

*EDIT* i forgot to mention the bike carrier - ebay again by decathlon- nice and cheap due to some scratches ... but seriously, who will notice :p

retails at a price of around £190 ish, and all my ebay gear is very nearly new.

It might not look the prettiest of additions to some of the twingos on here - but it does the job :)

(admittedly I did have to go to my brothers house to get some help to fit them without denting the car)

Looks good, please put a huge inflatable shark/crocodile on there. You know you want too.

:O no doubt something like that will end up on there! I think we have a dog we got in spain called pedro, I wonder where he is, and if he would like to come to work tomorrow! :D

Do it, i really want a huge shark on my roof for some reason

turn up at FCS with a "133.net" branded inflatable on the roof - surely that is worth some sort of prize?

Inflatable croc and a 133.net sticker or two

Haha I'd love to lower it!! But finances and practicality means my twingo will remain on eye level with bus drivers :p
