I'll start with my Twingo since this is the place for them.

I've always loved the Twingo II and since seeing the RenaultSport and then the Gordini edition I had to get me some Twingo-ness. So I ordered a Gordini edition, which took ages but finally arrived at the beginning of August.

So here's number 110 -

Fitted new plates to the car yesterday.

Now it's my Megane's turn. I ordered the car at the end of 2005 and got it in January 2006. A fairly rare spec due to choosing factory xenons and climate control.

How she looked to begin with.

And how she looks now.

That is an awesome plate! If you don't mind, how much did it set you back?

The 666 plate on the Megane was £500 I think, it was my 21st birthday present though.

T121 NGO cost me £250 which I thought was a bit of a bargain.

Oh and here's a couple more piccies haha

Cheers, I thought it was a good find.

I'm not normally one for plates that are specific to the car but for £250 I thought it makes a nice addition and will give it more appeal if I ever come to sell it.

Just a quick update of the stickers I've put on the car. I'll keep the thread up to date with any changes I make to the car.

Also, this is my Voyager car cover. It's a light weight, breathable cover tailored for the Twingo. It's been on the car a week now and hasn't budged.

I'm going to be nosey now mate, but what products do you use on the exhaust tailpipe? I saw a Lambo on Polished Bliss a while ago, and I want my exhaust looking brand new! Lol. I'm a bit anal too :p

Lambo one will look brand new as they cost much to drive there just for show ;)

Also id be intrested in the question aswell as i have tryed loads things but never works :(

I tend to use just a normal metal polish like the one Autoglym do.

Another easy one to get hold of off the shelf is the Meguiars NXT exhaust polish. :) Hope that helps.

If the exhaust is really dirty then use an old cloth and just give it some elbow grease. When I picked up my old Lupo the previous had never cleaned the exhaust and with it over fueling, was somewhat black. Literally sat on the floor behind the car, cloth and Autoglym metal polish in hand and buffed it like a maniac haha. Came up perfect and was then far easier to do once a month.

Yeah you do have to give it a firm old rub! haha.

I think some of the detailers would use a fine wire wool with it to give it a bit more abrasion. How dirty is the exhaust? I'm guessing it's not been polished since you got the car, in which case just a cloth and polish should do it. Might just take a while.

Never polished tryed once and failed

Might have to bring it round to you ;)

i use #00 fine wire wool for cleaning my pipe with a bit of polish on the wire wool then rub comes up great everytime.

u say over fueling? is this common? my Twingo rs 133 exhaust pipe gets black really quick i find. pollished clean then in the space of weeks its solid black again!

is this normal?

Its bound to get black its an exhaust pipe ...

That was on my Lupo mate, not the Twingo. :)

My Lupo had a new manifold, exhaust and induction kit so was making almost 20bhp over standard but not mapped for it. Used to blacken the tail pipe quite badly, popped and banged as well haha.

The exhaust on the Twingo may go a little blackened but nothing out of the ordinary.
