Following the recent launch of the flagship 265hp Trophy version of Mégane Renaultsport, its smaller, but no less thrilling, performance sibling, Twingo Renaultsport, now welcomes its own top-of-the-range version: the ‘Silverstone GP’ limited edition.

Renault UK has an existing relationship with Silverstone, the country’s most famous motor racing circuit and home of the British Grand Prix, through a fleet of Renaultsport Trackday Experience cars and the venue for several of the performance division’s trackdays, so it was only natural that the French marque took it as its latest inspiration.

The new model has been specifically created for the UK market, with only 50 available. The effusive Twingo Renaultsport 133, costs £14,995. With a wealth of extra equipment over the standard Renaultsport versions, the Silverstone GP limited edition offers exceptional value for money, as well as added exclusivity.

The car shares the same purposeful stance, honed to grace the Silverstone tarmac. Sitting on a lowered Cup Chassis with a striking combination of silver metallic paint and contrasting ‘Deep Black’ details, including 17” alloy wheels, roof and door mirrors. Completing the exclusive look, the new limited edition Renaultsport also features extra-tinted rear windows and Silverstone GP B-pillar badges inscribed with the new GP circuit map. It also benefits from a matching ‘Deep Black’ rear spoiler and fog light surrounds.

Not being funny but why would you pay extra for something that a bit of halfords paint could achieve?

RS monitor - Could be retro fitted, dependent on wiring loom/stereo but not cheap to buy and have enabled
RS exhaust - not a cheap option, even bought through Karl
Silverstone logo door badges
Numbered ??/50 build plaque
Log book registered as a Twingo Silverstone, which you can't get round legaly

Then the colour scheme which you could re-create if you wanted but feel free to crack on with the rattle cans and show us the results

Fair enough but that doesn't sound enough to tempt me.
