Tyres size?

Hi, anyone had 195/45/17 fitted? I have 205/40/17 on at the moment but I really don't think they suit the car! I think the original tyres 195/40/17 look better as they have that stretched look! But with the roads the way they are I wanted a tyre with a bit more give. Please help

I have them on mine. All I can say is it's difficult to get a cheap set, if you even look at a kerb you will scrape your alloys and with the roads as they are, they aren't the most fun size to use! Every time I hit the smallest pothole it makes me want to cry a little.

You could try looking at tyres like the Dunlop sp sport maxx which have a little more rim protection (in my experience) than the standard contis in 195/40/17 setup.
