Ktec priced me up 778 for the cam kit which I would fit myself then get it mapped but that 778 could be saved to go towards a faster car in a couple years time?! I'm undecided

If you don't want to spend the money then don't...

I know if i had £778 sat around i would save it until i had around £2000 and get the cams and the full exhaust from them both at the same time...

Or wait and save more for the Standalone Ecu and get all three...

You will never see the cash again.

If you plan on keeping and will be happy with the jump do it.

If you're not sure, don't.

As you're questioning it, I wouldn't.

Pretty simple, no?

I would do it as i am not planning to sell the car in the near future.
I want a killer

As the others said, if you're not going to keep the car for much longer, don't bother. Whereas if you are going to be keeping it for a while and plan other mods on it, then it will be worth it! :)

I love the 133 and I just want to do something special with this one :) so I can't wait get the cam kit and then think about other things.

I just had cams and a re-map on my 172 and am over the moon with the difference. Need a cat back system to make the most of it but it's very impressive in my opinion. :)

What's it running now after the remap

Well it was down on power due to a shonky air filter and quite a restrictive exhaust so made 155bhp.

Now making 178bhp which doesn't sound a lot when people consider that it's meant to be 170bhp. Have been advised it should make 5-10bhp if I upgrade the centre pipe to a 2 1/2 bore rather than the patent part 2" pipe it's got now.

I'd go so far as to say it's almost worth it for the noise alone haha.
