Hello,

I have done my first proper clean of my twingo since I got it :cough: 4 months ago :cough:

Anyway needless to say it was in a right state, the before dont quite show how rancid it was.

Firstly the horrid external photos...

Now the internal shots...

The back is a complete mess due to taking my son to nursery and his grubby feet on the carpet

Interior clean,

No special tricks here, just remove the ****, hover the rest, wipe down with some Armorall interior wipes.

The seats were fine, just needed a hover and a wet cloth got the rest.

Now for the exterior....

First off to get rid of the dead bugs using Simoniz Bug Shifter

P1020822.JPG

Then I got bored of taking photos and just got on with the cleaning...

Did the following..

Quick blast of the jet wash to remove the cack
Meguiars Ultimate Wash & Wax, and two trusty buckets
Another blast of the jet wash,
Dry and wipe down
Autoglym Super Resin Polish

Atempted to use some Meguiar's Ultimate Quik Wax, shocking stuff, cause more swirl marks try to buff the bugger off

So gave in and went back to using Autoglymm AuqaWax, which was damn hard work as the day was heating up.

Anyway.. ended up with this.

Damn bird ****, I was do careful trying to get it off but Its dulled the paint below...

The light polishing didnt sort it.
:(

Looks worse in the photo that in real life, kind of blends in with the stone chips.

Your car ended up looking great!!

Nice one, but i do hate that bird ****, that happend to my boot panel i swear to go it was aimed at by birds and then i got a mark like yours, what do the birds actually eat!!!

even managed to clean the Mrs's's car, didnt get the full pimp service but still turned out well

Cleaned up well mate!

I live on the north coast of Wales and my car is guaranteed to get obliterated with bird crap at least once week while at work! Damn tourists feed them so there's hundreds of the buggers

I washed mine yesterday, I was out for 20 minutes then went back to the car had it all over the roof! Nothing more frustrating! Good job though! If you don't let it get so bad in the first place it won't be as bad to wash :)

 I know i hate a dirty car, but i cant always wash my car :/

Im so sad i do mine every week and a half lol I follow the Dodo Juice maintainence page on their website, im going to do mine properly probably tomoz with a polish and wax and sealant :)
I feel ur pain with the bird poo as I waxed my old C1 and the next day a bird pooed on it, got it straight off and it burned right through the laquer, luckily i traded it in for the twingo the week after else i would have had to have it resprayed cos im so OCD lol
If u havent tried it maybe try clay as that lifts the embedded dirt off but its most likely stained into the paint sadly :(

Car looks good there mate, was rather filthy I must say.

As for the bird sh!t marks, it's a bit of a b!tch as it's acidic. Might be worth trying something a little more abrasive to get the shine back. Could try something like Meguiars Scatch-X as it's micro abrasive, as is Dodo Juice Lime Prime.
