Every so often I head down to South Wales to see my old man. Today however, everyone was at work and I had the day to myself - so I went for a drive...

So I was prepped, set off early at 9 and away I went. My source of entertainment for the journey. Disk 3 is my favorite....

So I took the scenic route to Brecon - headed up from Caerphilly, up towards Ystrad Mynach, Brymmawr and towards Crickhowell.

tbc..

Then I popped into Talybont-on-Usk by the reservoir for some photo's of the car, which was what I went out to do originally.

Then I drove into Brecon for some dinner, had a look round and headed home.

Great looking oics and those roads are awesome. Don't suppose you went through a little village called llnagynidr did you? Probably between crickhowell and the reservoir, my grandad and aunt live there so when I visit them I go in my car and parents in there's. Obvious reason being driving my rs on those roads is much more fun than sitting in the back of a ka

Was a good day!
My aunt owns the little village shop (walnut tree stores.) haven't been up the reservoir in years. Might have too go next time I visit, bet you had fun on the road between crickhowell and the village.

There's a lot off hills/mountains so you can easily go wrong haha

Had loads of fun in my GT there... Until I realised we were on a cliff edge with signs saying the road edge was weak and work was due to commence that week, drive like a granny then.

Also managed to roll from 0-70 down a massive hill with no throttle!

Yes there are club stickers, get in touch with Neil (singlespeed) about them. The store is down due too a current owner change

I drive this area quite a lot and the road from crickhowell to Builth is good but the road from Builth to Brecon is better its called upper chapel road and its about 20 miles, sooooo good
