I just watched/read a blog about this place.
Why haven't you guys done a meet on this epic racetrack?

You can get access for photos but if there's a group of you going you need to clear it with them first... which isn't exactly hard.

Checked Google Maps. Its not that far for us foreigners either

It's not a complete track any more. There's a housing estate and supermarket on one part of it.

They have a nice little museum, and cafe/restaurant. There's also Mercedesworld, on the far side of the Brooklands site.

If there's a group of you, they will let you do this.

Not to forget they charge you to take pictures on there.

Still, with the museum/restaurant and Mercedesworld, sounds maybe more appealing to people outside the UK to go to meets instead of your regular carpark meets.

Just an idea.. unless you guys are planning something secretly on Spa Franchorchamps

I'll be at Spa in the spring. Not sure what I'll be driving yet though.
