First off are they nice
Second how far should I go
3. Will they fit as they are from a corsa

what brand are they luke mate? they look nice enough to be fair. you'll need to know the centre bore size before you can go for them. they'll need to be larger than 60.1 mm to fit onto a twingo as all 4x100 renaults have that sized centre bore (the hole in the middle of the wheel that the dust cap goes over / into). if it's smaller, then forget about the wheels! you'll need spigot rings to reduce the size to 60.1 mm

Ahh Rota Grids / Konig / Inovit / whatevers rip off TE37's there's many a thread on here asking the same question. Some members already have them on. And yes they do go well on Twingos.

Edit: If they are Inovit they're ****. You pay for what you get I would never dirty my car with them. BTW, They do look like them I'm afraid.

They are Inovit St16 I believe

Weight isn't an issue only care about looks

Who said owt about weight? I'm talking quality of manufacture.

The quality won't be as bad as some idiots think they are.

They have to manufacture them to a satisfactory quality otherwise they'd all break and the company won't be trading anymore due to high volumes of complaints and reimbursements.

They look nice so if you like them go ahead, unless you would rather pay £2000 for a REAL set of volks, let's face no one with any common sense will waste so much on wheels for any small inexpensive car.

And as to mr Ben saying they're **** we could voice our opinion and say some stuff he's bought is **** as its just a personal opinion so is an invalid comment.

No I'm voicing what I know people that have bought these and they failed. i.e. cracked.

Nothing to do with opinion.

If you want this style go with Rota's as I've said in another post I wouldn't waste nearly a third of my cars value on a set of alloys most people would have no idea about.

As for my car, sorry no cheap tat on mine ;)

EDIT: However these were put on cars that did the odd trackday thinking they'd save money and it ultimately cost them. If you're just using it to pootle around town and have the look then, as I said you pay for what you get and they'll do the job.

Got my eyes on these now they ended for a lot more than I wanted to pay

There's also plenty of Rotas that have cracked and in extreme cases the rim has split away from the lip, these issues aren't restricted to just the cheaper brands.

Rota are cheap tho ;)

As with everything you can always find someone/thing to bolster 'your' case, I used to run Rotas and had no prob.

Case in point...

Anyhoo any idea on the new pic, they 'look' like OZ Super Leggeras....

Yes that's because they are :)

Just fork out for a decent set that'll last you, I had a nasty run in with a pothole at 70mph in the dark during the winter and the tyre burst but my wheels weren't even slightly phased by it because they're good solid (pretty expensive) wheels.
If they were a cheaper not so well made set I don't think I'd be saying the same thing.

You get what you pay for IMHO

If they are then buy them if you can get a good price for them.

Careful Mr Parks agreeing with me may get you shunned ;)

I bet there's instances of wheels failing from all different manufacturers, even with the supposedly stronger rims as they will probably have a harder life compared to a McDs carpark ornament. There's a thread somewhere with broken wheels from all the big names.

If your wanting light weight and reliable, prepare to bend over, get the lube out and stump up a whole lot of cash for some forged rims.

Its a case of striking a balance on what you want Vs the cost.

If they're spinners deffo get them!

Wow £124 for four that's a price each (and the rest) for me :)

I was considering them for my winter set, but now I'm tempted to sell both my wheels and go for a nice set of 16s and lower the car a little

If you want some relatively cheap wheels that will last you a lifetime, get some Braids.

15x7, custom et, 6.4 kg. Price in the Netherlands (ex VAT) €122 > £100

https://www.braid.es/wheels/product...owcast-wheels_p81/fullrace-maxlight_p404.html

Oh aye it's definitely a play off between all those things and again it depends on what you're using them for.
I remember when I was going to buy a set of fifteen52s (before I realised they just wouldn't work) someone said that on one of ken blocks vids he has different coloured wheels because he kept smashing them doing the jumps and they're about £1200 a set so price isn't always the answer. But it's not a bad guide assisted by some recommendations too.
