Just bought our lass a 133 sport it's running on conti sport 195 40 17 tyres with 3mm of tread what would you surgest to fit if she wanted a quieter ride, but I could borrow for a blast now and again?

133/quiet ride. Choose one.

Whilst some tyres may produce less or more road noise, the ultimate lack of sound deadening is always going to win!

Black circles.com will be a help for u. They tell u grip levels and noise but the tyres u have on are up with the best of them tbh and are my next choice

Go 15s with a larger profile have less road noise don't they?

Other than that theres nothing much you can do to reduce the road noise except turn the stereo up.

The compound / wear rate does affect noise, less friction = less noise

I find it kinda strange that you're worried about tyre noise when driving a 133.. it's not like it's a Prius :lolno:

You would do a better job some sound deadening to the arches. The lack of any on the rear is amusing. There isn't a single splash you can't hear when it rains.
