Sorry if I've missed this on the site already! :lol:

I've just seen a bit of news in Fast Car magazine about the new Twingo that's being previews this year.

I must admit, it doesn't do a lot for me. Looks too much like a mini Nissan Juke where as I quite like the sharper look of the current shape.

No I didn't think so. Admittedly, it stands out a bit more than the non-RenaultSport Twingos as they are quote non descript.

I'll reserve judgement until I've seen the RS model as that'd be the version I'd take an interest in, although not buying haha

According to the RUK guys it will be atleast 2 years for the RS model .

Probably. I just really don't see the point in them releasing this model at all.. Nothing wrong with the one we have now, and then if they are going to base the next generation Twingo 3 on a smart car chassis then god help us all!

Thing is do we have definite confirmation of the Smart/Renault planned Twingo actually being done?

Also, we don't know if this version is a completely new platform or if it's just a tweaked version of the current model. If it is then I'd expect the RS version to come out sooner as they already have an RS chassis/engine.

If it's completely new in terms of looks and interior, even if it's based on the current model they'll ride the Twingo coat tales for a couple more years.
