Hi guys and dolls, I'm looking to stance my Twingo, but I haven't done it before so I'm looking for abit of advice!? IE what Fitment is best, how low I can go etc any help is appreciated xxx

everyone has a story and it's up to them how they write it :D not seen many stanced gt's. depending on how you choose to set up camber with either plates or camber bolts and offset, it should look rather snazzy. what to do is measure the distance from your arch to sidewall and take note and then use this website to figure out how far each wheel you fancy will sit in relation to the arch.

oh god, this is my first go at this, seems im gunna have to do some homework!

Hi holly good to see you still have the gt, you've been rather quiet lately.
Dunno if it will help you at all but here's a link to a thread showing what wheel sizes and tyres people have run. In the first post the last wheel size is for Ollie's car with a link to his progress thread. It's the most "stanced" twingo on here I've seen and may be helpful to you although it is an rs not a gt :S

whats your plans and budget? any wheels you have in mind? what colour is your car?

do you have the suspension fitted already or are you standard so far?

if you let us know they details im sure some of us can help you out :)

I thought you were saving for something with vtec-y0?

I think the easiest for getting stance but still get comfort is airride.

Literally an open mind atm! Twingo is still standard. Its a silver gt. I'd like to get the body work smoothed out and im thinking of removing the front badge, id like it to see alot lower than stock but as to how low will need playing with! And wheels im not sure..... But cos this will be my first go im a little unsure where to start! :)

There was a guy over on another twingo forum with a smoothed front and 50mm dropped on some Rota Grid look a likes. Looked pretty damn good!

Well this is something i would <3 to have as a friend of mine shopped it up for made the body a bit more both front and rear wider in the arches and stuck under rota grids 9 wide or something (yeah thats me cleaning the car again )

this is something i would <3 to achieve and he said it is possible if you are ready to lose your car for 2 to 3 months :p

but back on topic

simple holly Coilover kit and 8 wide rims one hell of a stance car also test with the coilover in high setting and then go lower and lower trail and error is how most ppl do it maybe ask olie cup ? :p

I went AP coilovers with 25mm (I think!) spacers all round, it sat brilliant

This looks sick! yeah I guess you're right thing that's bothering me now is that it looks so good on a 133 cos they're wider and my gt isn't :(
