Where to re-map

Hi people some may no that I have rolling road figures of my car at 146.2 bhp and 122 lb-ft but time has come to re-map the twingo.

Does any one on her no of a good place to have the re-map done

It's never been re-mapped but the cold start is way to rough now and Renault wouldn't do anything

RS tuning Leeds, Paul is very very good and many regard him as the best for renaults.

Plus their rollers are one of the more reliable ones which give accurate readings.

I'd only ever go there now and it's just over a 2 hour journey for me, bonus points when theres his 511bhp megane there though.

Yeah sound's like a good place but I live in Essex so I'm looking at a 4 hour drive each way min but I will consider it

Hi guys sorry for jumping in but Louis how have you managed to achieve that kind of power without a re map?! I'm new to all this but I'm getting quotes of only 140 bhp from most places, and thats after a re map!

R.S. tuning in leeds quoted me roughly 4 bhp improvment over standard power :?

Hi mate I don't have a clue how all iv done is ktec exhaust and a air filter and that's the only rr figures I have ever had done and yes I questioned the figures but amd where I had it done said no that is what it is

Amd said all they would get out of it now is a maximum of 4 bhp but I don't trust them.

I might just bite the bullet in that case and go to R.S. tuning in leeds and see what I get.

Where abouts is that amd place?

It's in Essex mate and I want to get read of the cat but I think it would be way to loud on a long drive

Ah a bit far for me that seen as I live in manchester. Ye I'd love to do that but I think your right, it would be a bit much on longer journeys.
I share the car with my mrs and she winges about the noise of the standard exhaust so I'll be lucky to get a k-tec system on it ha.

Would you say the k-tec system made much of a difference?

Yeah that's a bit of a way to go.
The k-tec system is good i think and yeah it seems like it just frees the engine up a little bit and is a lot happier revving up but I quit loud at serten speeds
