just seen a guy breaking a clio 182 on facebook so i decided this was my chance to get all the uprated stuff i needed for the future.
what else do i need if i plan on getting 140+hp?

injectors, fuel pump? clutch? anything else?

also do i need the injectors rail or just the injectors?

cant afford an engine conversion lol plus cba with that. ill just get injectors and fuel pump :)

Get the wheels cheap if you can too and either put them on yours as they do for or sell on for a slight profit to try recoup some money ;).

Just get a 182. :)

My 182 hits 60 in 6.5secs, a fair old whack faster than the RS133.
For what you'd end up spending on the Twingo to get the power up, and you'd get little extra back when you sell it, you might as well buy a decent 182.
Even with the mods I doubt youd hit 60 in less than 7s.

You'd pick up a good one for £3.5k no problem.

+ there is the problem about insurance ^ and yea i've always wanted to try and start buying things to sell them on i will see how much he wants

if he was only interested in 0-60mph there is much better ways to get there than a clio 182!!
hahahaha, shot straight down JMR! ;) i recon my s14a can pull 62mph in 4 seconds dead. that said and done, i've never had much balls to take my eyes of the road and look at the speedo! but jmr does throw up a good point, i doubt you'd be chasing speed in any form in a twingo all be it a 133 or a dynamique. but i'm with craig here, rather build it than buy it!

agree with that, my best mate had a 360bhp S14a, we went halfers on a track day in it at knockhill and it scared the **** out me!

Oi ! :x
Smart ar5e.
Personally I've not been one for wasting money modding where I could spend the money better buying something stock that is always going to be more powerful in the first place.
In fairness you'd get the parts you want for the right price I suppose and if modding and tweaking is your bag then you're going to have a good formula for fun. :)

I wasnt referring ONLY to 0-60.
Factor in the acceleration and the handling, and the fact that ALL the magazines have always rated the 182 as the best in its class as an all round package.
Mines nearly 8 years old now. No thought of changing it yet.

it was 4.19 seconds (dead, close'ish) with the slicks and 4.9 with maxxi's and 5.1 with toyo's at crail. but she is pulling 385 horses just now with gear in the garage that will take her to 500 by the end of next year, but i am not going over 500. i've driven an 800brake supra on drift spec and it drives like an absolute pig, seriously crazy polish guy!!

Great cars, however as an overall package now id struggle to pick one over a 197, nothing in it performance wise but suspension and brakes are miles ahead.

kind of tempted to add s14a to the swear filter and change it to Twingo. Then at least, there will be some relevance to the forum :(
