I'm after the company who sells twingo rally parts, I'm planning on buying something off them possibly next month so want to get in contact with them.

I think they are I'm Milton Keynes IIRC but can't find out their name.

Sorry if this is a duplicate thread my search didn't come up with any results, either that or I'm just a plank and didn't search correctly

Monster sport Europe make the cars for customers, who i think you're thinking of. Not sure they're a reseller other than a complete kit, or a built car.

Thanks Maggi I'll send them an email asking if they sell separate bits.

Good luck. And hope you have very deep pockets.

What parts are you after specifically?

The exhaust system mainly as its the one I want so as long as it isn't stupid expensive ill definitely get it.

There's a French twingo with one of the rally items. Is it the r2? I assume so.

I seem to recall it sounded very reasonably priced, although it literally is a straight pipe right?

It sounded silly loud for road use IMO.

You're right, it basically is a straight pipe and the exhaust tip is actually very small, it would be silly loud but I'm willing to try it out.

I have sent them an email for the price of the exhaust system with and without the manifold, I remember someone mentioning the manifold is very expensive if it is I would eventually look into the k tec manifold and get a custom sports cat to bolt in for obvious reasons.

When I get a response I will post up on here if others are interested.

Hi Chris
Yes all parts are available separately
Manifold £836.20
Collector 321.55
Center pipe £731.54
Rear silencer £330.07

Seeing as I have no silencers I'm going to get the rear silencer first then eventually end up with the whole system minus the manifold, which will be a ktec one.

Get paid next month a week before FCS show will put my order in then and hopefully I will have it before FCS if I can attend!

Daft point.

If the manifold is where you'll make the performance gain, why bother with the rest? Surely it's better to just get the ktec system or nothing?

I suspect 4 2 1 from the R2 doesn't work well with standar engine & ecu

What you're saying is true the only reason I'm looking at the rally parts is to try something different and from the sound of the French twingo it does sound good.

It makes more sense to go with k tec as its cheaper by a long way. And for the price of the rear silencer you can get the old style k tec cat back exhaust for less.

Either way I'd be looking into a full decatted system and only have a bolt in cat for an MOT.

I don't understand how the center section is £700+ though!

if it like the clio parts itll have a motorsport cat built in . as you have to have one for race use for car manifactured post 2000 if im correct with the year . all the clio cup race cars came with them out the factory

Does the R2 part have to justify it's price with FIA regs or anything?
In which case, you're paying for something you really don't need. Just buy the Ktec system

Just get a custom straight theough pipe and put that back box on it? Its probably just an empty box anyway..

That's what I thought about after seeing the centre section price.

How much did you pay for your pipe on the old I music?

Maggi the cost won't be much different this was as the old k tec cat back is ~£350 and the R2 rear silencer and a custom centre section won't cost much more.

Who cares about how loud it is as I've been in much louder cars

That exhaust on the r2 makes a great noise though very loud

It sounds great. On a rally car...

What sounds great on a racetrack is not socially acceptable on the road, usually. IMO it's far too loud

Section 19.50

So, you would need both Manifold (£836.20) and Y-Collector (£321.55) to make up for the original manifold and downpipe.

The center section does indeed have Lambda bosses shown, so the lump in the middle will be a cat. Wether its a 100cell or 200cell would be worth finding out before purchace as a 100cell may still fail the emissions if your not tunned perfectly... Its a bloody expensive cat for the price ontop of a bent tube and a single hanger welded on to it as £250 would easily cover a decent metalic substrate sports cat :?
