I THINK it could be from using that wheel brush with the metal in.. But im sure i wasnt being that vigerous? I cant imagine stones doing it either?

I havent used any tools around the cap so it cant be anything like that, havent had the wheela off

Its only on the one alloy.. And its done my head right in

that does look like cleaning scratches from the metal. u donthave to be vigorous the metal will still scratch wheels to pieces

The yellow brush should have a rubber cap on the end, and they're well known for falling off and causing this issue.

It wasnt the end of it definatley, damn thing, they are quite deep aswell!!
Better polish out a little bit, fuming!!

I wouldn't worry about it too much. Looks like there's a bit of corrosion that needs sorting, so get it painted, rather than polishing.

he only got them refurbed a few months ago, expensive to get them done again so soon :p

Yeah must only be a few months ago, they mustnt of done a perfect job the *******s, think they might of rushed it cause they had my car over a week and i was ringing up everyday

Grr!

Dont think they would do it for free cause i guess its my fault, or atleast not theres, and cant really afford to get it re-done at the moment :(

Will just have to live with it until im ripping my hair out over it :)

The corrosion is their fault! I agree that the scratches aren't but that is besides the point. It you want to contribute so that they do the whole wheel again, then fine.

Check the other wheels carefully as well. I would think that they haven't been prepared properly.

I'd take them back mate, it must be something they have done! :/

Do you think they would after a few months? They said it was garranteed for 3 years if it starts peeling or whatever, and to be criticising there are a oversprayed areas..

Will give them a ring if i get chance, cheers guys

Blacktwingo, did you get all four wheels done?? If so how much was it roughly each wheel mate if you don't mind me asking?

Yeah i got all 4 done, was £160+vat

Got a good deal, but obviously robbed by lack of workmanship..

If i can dig out my warranty ill definaltey be giving them a call
