My boy was playing around with the child lock switch for the back doors on the wife's scenic no the service light is on and it's saying check auto lock system anyone know how to clear it

It's got that aswel maggz and a button near the window buttons to lock the back doors. I've tried holdin the raid button and opening the back doors and flicking the door lock on/off

Well took the scenic to Renault for the £49.99 diagnostic and the n/s/r lock is broken. They quoted me £364 parts and labour needles to say I'm goin to fit it myself. £130.64 for a new look with the wires that's the little ***** birthday and Christmas out the window

To be fair, yes he shouldn't have been playing with it. But its a switch so should survive being switched...unless he was giving it a kick or using maggis technical adjustment tool, he (and therefore you) were unlucky it broke :(

He kept switching it on/off really fast. The car is nearly 5 years old now just annoys me I have to replace a whole look and not a fuse or relay

He's a kid, it's what kids do. If I were his age still and you put a switch in front of me, I would probably flick it a load too!
