Wiper Blades

Hey folks,

Just a quick one to see if anyone else has the same problem.My passenger side wiper blade gets stuck when trying to pull it up and barely raises a few centimetres off the window. anyone else experience this? Do I just have to man up and try and force it up or...?
Beginning to be a right pain when cleaning and need to change the blade anyway.

Oh really I didn't notice this...

Probaly due to a conversion with the LHD to RHD cars that they had to place the motor for the windscreen wipers on the other side and giving the wipers a weird hing.

Yes but the motor is probaly in a different position possibly due to the steering column being on the 'wrong' side

Same as we get LHD passenger matts that don't fit the footwell quite right :lol:

So the real question is, how do we lift them for maintenance when blades need changing for instance? I've not bothered looking but to lift them would be helpful

I'm wondering this as well actually. Keep thinking I'll break them when I try to lift it a little.. would make the cleaning of the car easier too.

If you want to take them off it's pretty easy, just undo the nut under the plastic cover, shit design but it's French..

Mark the blade positions on the shafts, or you could spend ages getting them back how they should be. :?

Be very carefull removing the cover as the clips are very easy to snap off. My clips are now epoxied back on

Theres marks on the windscreen where the end of the wipers should sit if there set correctly

I snapped mine off the first time and lost the cover, had to buy a replacement from Karl for £40 lol.
