Worlds most annoying rattle.....

My car has just gained what is officially the worlds most annoying rattle.

Accelerate.... rattle rattle rattle donk
Brake.... rattle rattle rattle donk
Turn left.... rattle rattle rattle donk
Turn right.... rattle rattle rattle donk

Its like a little bit of plastic is rolling about in a door pocket but is able to do it when you steer left and right. I have removed all tat from the interior, still doing it.

So omnidirectional, it does sound as though it is coming from the hand brake lever itself.

For once it its life the interior is spotless.

Tool come loose in the spare wheel zone around the boot, or a locking wheel nut rolling around (wherever you keep them)?

I was thinking in the spare wheel too. I've had that before and was seriously annoying

I normally just turn the radio up but the pitch of the rattle just pierces though.

fixed that, that was bloody annoying also, def not that again.

has the passenger seat been folded forward then put back into place? Mine rattler like a bottle bank if i dont do it right

Yup. Spent four hours trying to find this. Sounds like its coming from beneath the hand break.

Right. Really getting ****** off now. I have tracked down the noise to either under the carpet where the hand brake comes though or the two plastic bits on the inside bottom of the seats... They are pretty much the only trim i haven't removed so far

Instead of plowing on and dismantling the car without knowing what im doing, how you I remove the seats? going to have a look under the carpet
