your wash routine

simple enough whats the order you wash your car in etc. not sure if thread like this was around

also my supply some usful info for people like me who havent got a clue on proper order etc

mines would be this if it makes sense
1. Hose car down and get rid of loose dirt
2. spray chemical guys bug remover on front end. leave it on.
3. Start washing with Sponge/Wash Mitt the front end
4. Same as 3 but both sides and back
5. Spray Bilberry wheel cleaner on alloys
6. use wheel brushes to clean alloys and rinse them with hose
7. Rinse all the car down
8. allow car to dry or dry with towel (towel is dirty at times so dont use it)
9. Polish the Car
10. Thats outside done

then Clean inside with is basic enough.
 
Fill bucket with tepid water
Chuck in some generic car wash stuff
Wash
Chamois
Done

Oh I do start at the top and work down and do the wheels last
 
Hose down at high pressure.
Snow foam using a weak mix of usually actimousse
Bucket with ph shampoo, some wheel brushes on wheels. Usually sour power
Hose down car.
Snow foam and small brush to get into gaps a mitt cant
Hose
Wash 2 bucket method with lambswool pad/mitt/wookies fist (just looking for a carpro wash mitt atm though ;)) and a ph neutral shampoo. Usually born to be mild
Open end hose down to sheet water
Pat dry car with a plush towel and blow dry panel gaps and wheels
Quick detailer to bring back the shine
Quick wipe down of glass
Damp cloth over engine
Dress tyres (fk108 or swissvax pneu)

That's obviously only a maintenance wash ;)
 
Im glad this has been brought up because im not sure im doing mine right, lol

Mine goes Inside 1st so im not putting my hoover in 1st

I use Daisy all purpose cleaner watered down, Interior Shampoo and Microfibre cloths

For the outside, it goes like this

Use Jet wash to get it wet and take off any loos bits of dirt etc
Then cover the car in snow foam
Rinse
Spray with Tardis
Rinse
Wash with Meguiars Gold Class Shampoo (2 buckets and a Microfibre Mitt)
Wheels (Meguiars Hot Wheels)
Dry (Meguiars Drying Towel)
Polish (High Resin Polish)
Wax (Autoglym HD Wax)
Then Cover the car in Autoglym protection
 
Do the interior 1st so there's no water on the ground around the car
Spray bilberry on the wheels
Bucket of warm water with halfords shampoo and wash the wheels
Pressure washer the wheels
Pressure wash the car
Bucket of warm water with halfords shampoo and wash the car, roof, boot, sides then front
Pressure washer the car
Hose the car with free flowing water
Dry
AG Bumper care
Polish AG SRP
AG EGP
2 coats of wax, collinite ( that's what I've got atm )
Tyre black

I then just add a layer of wax after the next few washes
