My dad has this Diesel Clio III which is fitted with a 6 speed gearbox. He said: "you could put on of these on your RS", I doubt the ratio's would suit, but maybe the result is 1-5 about the same and the 6 being a overdrive? But would it fit straight away?

That must have been power at wheels? Measuring at the wheels are most converted to power at flywheel, but not all!

What would it take to fit the cruise control of an original Twingo RS to a Twingo RS that doesn't have one?

I really don't like extra gaskets or plates lowering the compression ratio. Only low forged compression pistons will do in my opinion. Same as with upgrading the rods...

Last year a Russian (Rakhmatullin) drove the first Twingo (I think it is this one), but despite some new clever bits over the Clio Super 1600 it had some small problems and lacked the speed. This year Mr. Baby Blue does well and maybe he can become champion. But he would have to beat Linnemann...

Really? I would like to have a 182 or better 197/200 lump. 230 would be great too, but I guess the 197/200 makes it more drivable... Is it the 182 engine really a straight fit (same engine support holes, etc) and does it include Clio gearbox? Will the original inlet- and exhaust manifold fit...

I can understand that! Hope it gives some nice results, because to be honest I think the 1.6 RS engine is the weakest and most dissapointing point of an otherwise nice to drive car...
