the day I got the car I started using vpower and that's all that has ever been uesed there has never been a penny speared when it comes to this car it is my baby its serviced every 3 mounts or 4500 miles so well looked after o an to add Renault sport get faster with age and if you drive them to there limit every day they learn your way of driving like mine there's not one day that I dnt take it to the rev limit

So the conditions don't allow and you'll green light the gear changes? Hmm

I'm not sure you're coming across very well. Perhaps your car does make this much power but tbh I find the way you type and the things you're saying a little hard to believe, there's no real credibility to any of your posts so far is all a few are saying I think and those with experience of rollers have expressed an interest in finding out conditions, and actual facts and you got rather defensive.

Get the graph up, I'd quite wanna see the power, I suspect it peaks somewhere quite steeply

borrowed from the other twingo site (tanks to Dubz for bunging this up)

Don't know if you spotted this fella but here it is

Cheers weebob I did try and look through I saw that but thought it was yours

Tbh I gave up reading half the posts since I'm not sure they were written in any form of english I could follow.

Either way, it's good power and sounds like Louis enjoys the car. I too find it hard to believe with them mods that power is achievable, and I have been told that amd are optimistic with their rollers. But the guys down there do good work. Maybe a standard 133 needs to visit their particular rollers to compare. They invited me down a while back and I did have the intention of going but was out of the country at the time

Yeah ok I'm sorry about some of my grammar I try to type way to fast and that's what happens I dont mean to come across like that. It was my first ever rolling road day and I understand what everyone is saying about to power to hight

pfc mag did a nice write up on rolling roads in the current issue. all about the differneces and what shoul ook for etc.

That is hight lol mine is no way 146 I would say about 135 if I'm lucky but will do a new rr day somewhere new

My old vts made 140 atf with bmc cda a stainless system decat and a stand alone ecu so yeah seems hard to believe but not all cars are the same
perhaps renault made this one well

There is always the Chance. There has been a far few 133's posting low figures in early days some as low as 110's if i remember correct.
Mine did 133.5 no mods, not exactly been nurtured. Been looked after but not a garage queen.
Who knows...

Yh cool I think it would be good if some one from the forum should try to get a rolling road day put together it's a good day I did mine with a mini club an it was a good day. amd where I whet did the test for £30 an the the club took £10 of each car that did the test for charity good day

I tried to organise none for the NW owners. Id certainly be up for organising one for the forum. I have close ties with a rolling road at a well respected garage in boulton. Maybe a bit of a trek.

I will bung up a post. A charity thing is a damn good idea

Its worth it it would be a good day and every one can do there bit for charity and have fun doing it

Hay every one after a long time I have booked a rr day at a different place but the car is now standard I'm going to see what it has and will report back then the exhust may be going back on for a new figaure

That must have been power at wheels? Measuring at the wheels are most converted to power at flywheel, but not all!

Mine managed 100 at the wheels which led to a estimate of 133 at the fly. These were just stupidly low, the posts were on that other twingo forum that shall not be named.

I really think that is low and I really doubt this lead to an estimate 133 on the fly, I think this would mean 120-125 at the fly... Mine had 115 about the 133 at the fly before mapping and only 117 after mapping leading to about 136...

2hp doesn't sound like much, but I suspect the headline figure is hiding a much nicer mid-range for real world driving?

Flywheel figures are only estimates - unless you take the engine out, so I really wish the industry would stop using them. :|
