not a problem, RUK are ringing me tomorrow to for me to book my car in the garage then they are going to go from there in how much of a contribution they are going to make.

Spoke to RUK today, out come is I have to take it to my local Renault dealer and pay £65 + VAT for a diagnostic of the problem then RUK will go from there if they agree the bottom arm has failed and RUK will contribute towards the cost of the repair and refund the diagnostic cost.

I have emailed RUK, lets see what they say, I take it no one has found any patterned bottom arms or a ball joint.

Do you think that would work? my car is out of warranty.

Evening all, after a bit of help/info.... Ball joint has just gone, split rubber and slight bit of play. does anyone know if you can replace just the ball joint (do they pop out and can you pop a new one in) or do you have to replace the whole bottom arm assembly? If so does any one if there...
