Glad you came too your senses about the insurance from the in house 5-0 lol!

It's a nice idea a conversion but to be honest a 2nd hand would be cheaper

Mines cheap enough ;) as your a member on here I'm sure we could work out an even better price for it :) pm me if u wanna talk numbers

Fair play for wanting to give it a crack though. U will be the 1st to try a conversion outside of the demo stuff

This is wrong! Theres a Twingo with a Megane 225 engine
I completely get the idea of a 225 engined Twingo as theres nothing comparable. However a 1.6 Twingo sounds awfully familliar so i'm sure theres something simillar about already

Supose but my insurance runs out in april so will regester it as a 1.6 on the insurance then :)

AND, you also need to do it on the logbook, so tax goes out the window...not much point dude.

Insurers would insure a Twingo RS before they'd insure a 1.2, modified with an RS engine...

If insurance on a 133 is too much have you considered a twingo GT and remap it, they're insurance group 5 and can pick one up cheaper than the RS133 models

It won't be as quick off the line or as planted in corners but a remapped GT should be faster overtaking as higher torque and will still cost less than a 133 ;)
