6 speed gearbox from a Diesel Clio

My dad has this Diesel Clio III which is fitted with a 6 speed gearbox. He said: "you could put on of these on your RS", I doubt the ratio's would suit, but maybe the result is 1-5 about the same and the 6 being a overdrive? But would it fit straight away?

An old topic, but I hope someone knows. Will a 6 speed gearbox from a Clio 1.5 dCi 105 Sélection Business Sport fit in a Twingo II 1.5 DCi?

Ratios would be messed up, just buy a cheap 6 speed diesel if economy is an issue

so i guess it's possible

renault also manage the Clio GT as a twingo RS engine

You could fit a 6 speed onto the car, but for the 6th gear benifit the financial output would make it not worth it. Allot of work to be done. Just buy a taller 5th gear, although again would cost allot of money at a garage if you don't do work ur self.
