Looks awesome, good job. Really need to give mine a clean, but quickly running out of time before WSR

I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole.

Ha nor would I... I prefer to spend the time myself, just some people don't have the time!

I don't get all this "don't use them" rubbish. How a car is cleaned won't really affect how it drives/goes. I'm obsessed with keeping my car clean, yes. But that's my car. If someone wants to use a polish chap to clean his motor, why not? Doesn't affect me in the slightest. It could be a million pound bugatti and I wouldn't mind. Their car, their choice ;)

I didn't say don't use them, just that I wouldn't.

People who don't want to look after their own car, for whatever reason, have three primary choices:

1 - pay very little for car park valeters/automated car washes to scratch it
2 - pay for someone to be look after it properly
3 - have a dirty car

It could be a well looked after car that has money spent making sure it's mechanically perfect, but to some paint is paint. In fact were in teh minority. I just see all these threads all the time about "I saw a bloke take a brand new merc through a car wash and I cringed" kinda things. Just annoys me

I agree that people can look after their cars however they like and that we are most definitely a minority and that it doesn't affect me. However, when I recently saw a brand new Ferrari 458 being given to B&Q valeters (who I'd been watching put their mitts on the floor, while waiting for my girlfriend), I was surprised and slightly annoyed. I was tempted to go and have a word with the owner, even if it would have just been to tell him about my services.

I agree with you matt, I wouldn't use the cleaners in car parks. I watch the way they wash the cars and I think when I don't have time to clean mine, I would rather it be dirty than when they ask me if they want it cleaned!

On the lines of that they have the pols down my local sainsburys and they ask me if it wants cleaning when I have done it half hour ago and I just feel like saying does it look dirty to you ???

Today I went to sainsburys and my car is FILTHY from driving m25 yesterday, and they said do I want it cleaned I said its not dirty enough for you lol. Did get a weird look but when you see the water they use is as black as the ace of spades I wouldn't let them near my car with their hands!

Wont let them places touch my car. Only person who can clean my car is myself!

My car is still looking pretty clean despite driving through all this horrid rain :D wolfs is INCREDIBLE with it's water behaviour. The other night came home and it was tipping it down but I still had to water the hanging baskets (they get missed by the rain) so coat on, hose out (sniggers like a school boy) and watered them. With the hose rinsed the car down. The hard water here can be a nightmare but as it was raining so heavy it would get replaced before it dried... i simply rinsed all the dirty water straight off to reveal a perfectly clean car the next morning.

I'm the same tbh.

Had time to do a quick clean tonight. Not as good as I'd like but it'll have to do for now.
