I wouldn't go red... i'm just not keen on the colour,

In the flesh the blue looks stunning i would recommend it.

:)

Thanks Kelly, how do you find the GT? I know what you mean about the red but I think Renaults reds are quite good aren't they if they're looked after? My friend had a 182 Trophy and the red stayed perfect. Haven't seen a Mercury one, will have to view one.

No slim, I prefer the original one. The new one hasn't really grown on me yet.

Maybe your right about the MPG, I dont really do much mileage anyway.

MPG i dont worry about its all about having a car you enjoy!

**Awaits the abuse**
you sure you don't mean enjoy your bike? :p

I was awaiting for the "But you dont use your" But really if you enjoy the car why worry about MPG?

Just make sure you dont get black, its even worse to clean!

As others have said, the blue is the best colour. Unless its a facelift then well i have no idea what they are like in the flesh.

so if your looking second hand there wont be any diff in price with the diff colours? as for paint care, they dont take a tick to polish after a wash... nice, small car with lovely curves! slim.

My GT is nippy and handles quite well :) its my first car but compared to my friends cars its quite torquey and gives people a good surprise when they try to race me ;-) haha. I think if the red isnt parked in direct sunlight all day and you wash it regularly its colour should stay quite good :) im hoping to upgrade to a 133 myself after the summer but can see myself going for a mercury prefacelift or ly facelift as I LOVE the liquid yellow colour!

Agree on the liquid yellow color!

I'd go for the blue or white if you cant stretch to a Gordini. Or get one re sprayed LY :p

As for mpg, when I had mine, I was probably getting low 30's (which I miss!)

Few things...

1. Welcome to the site :)

2. Glacier White is clearly the best colour!

3. A red Twingo will not fade to pink... Only older cars without lacquer will fade, or incredibly bad paint on older cars.

4. Karl... You don't drive your car to enjoy it! :p

5. MPG... I seem to be getting below 30 (mostly med/high 20's) but it all depends on driving style.

Sorry to use points like that but I'm in a hurry and wanted to reply :)

Welcome to the site. I'd say blues the best colour but then again that's because mines blue :)

Thanks guys, did anyone on here own a 10 plate glacier white with cup packs and sprayed lots of little bits orange? I've seen it at a local garage (South Yorkshire) and it had at twingo133.net sticker on it?

Sounds familiar. Has decals on the side and some of the interior trim given orange highlights too?

No it's fine to link like that. Now just got to remember whose that was...

Welcome along to the site. I'm biased with blue but then again I do have a Gordini.

Although I used to love the black one that Rob (Pritch) had on here it looked stunning, but each to their own go with what suits as your the only one going to be happy with it.
