btw, dunno if some of are aware of this but on the GT, that black tube of your air intake that goes from the front of the nose to the airfilter itself has air 'vents' that are on the bottom of the tube.

So I'm not sure if drilling holes is going to make alot of difference, maybe a little.

surely it will wreck your airbox due to it letting in dirty air?

The holes are before the air filter, it's no different to the air that's drawn from the small scoop other than there is less distance to travel.

can you show me where i should take it out of on an engine because i cannot actually see on my engine sorry rather confused

I've read a couple of these posts about removing the bung on the air box. Well I have gone 1 better. Still a work in progress as I need to remove the front bumper so I can position it better however... I have cut a hole in the bottom left corner of the air box and given it a new cold air intake feed. Only cost me around £20 to do. I also bought a BMC panel filter :) once I have it done properly (so far it's not positioned 100% correctly so I'm not getting the optimum air flow into it) I will take some photos and show you guys. Also I'm gona get the car remapped and I'm interested to see the results

if yours is the same as my standard twingo engine, then not the same one as the gt or RS

And as Mikehealy and 133_Ads pointed out to me, it would be a right ***** to fit a new filter that would actually fit

ah ok what have you done to the engine then to make it sound better?

Nothing haha ive thought about a new exhaust, but its probably not really worth it for a sound.. But you could probably get a universal back box cheap, but might sound abit naff and annoying rather than lovely and orgasmic :p

hmm yeah thinking to go to a bmw 3 series next so as long as i can get insured going to stop doing upgrades now haha
