Right need some serious help with my alloys. Clean them every week along with the car but have some black marks on the front 2 that will not come off. Only have on the fronts not on the back so i guess it's something to do with brake dust from the disc brakes where as back are drums. Pics below show the marks.
Hopefully someone can help :)
Products used to try and remove are:
Halfrauds alloy wheel cleaner
Hatton performance alloy cleaner
Dodo juice supernatural wheel cleaner
Dodo juice tarmalade

my stuff is stronger than bilbury.... hmmm

my stuff is heavly diluted so might be worth sending you a less diluted product

other wise, dont recomend using it but pure wheel acid

Hmm might try some bilburry as I've heard about it before

IronX?

or Tardis?

they maybe worth a try.
+1 though it is more likely to be both, followed up with a wheel sealant

edit. If tarmalade is any good at getting rid of tar spots, ironx first.

dont see why people rate it so much :S if somthing does not come off, acid is fine, just be fuking quick, :p

bilbury is acid, just diluted down ALLOT

This looks like pitting, which is a nightmare to remove. Bilberry is far too mild to remove that. You probably won't ever get it 100% perfect but the process I would use is as follows:

Wash - Bilberry or Supernatural Wheel Cleaner
Tar remover - Tarmalade or Tardis (Tardis is stronger but Tarmalade is actually probably better in this particular situation, due to it being able to dwell for significantly longer)
Iron X - To remove metal fragments, as this is mostly brake dust, it will work quite well I'd have thought.
Clay - Claying should be quite effective. It will take you hours but if you want to get rid of it, claying is your best bet. Tbh, if you haven't already got Tardis and Iron X, I would say don't bother with them and go straight to clay, as they are quite expensive and a good quality clay can probably replace them both, especially as you've already got tarmalade for tar removal :)

then, once you've done this and got them looking as good as possible, use a heavy duty sealant to protect the finish and prevent the alloys from getting like this again. Dodo Juice are bringing out a Supernatural Hybrid sealant over the next couple of months :)

I'll give bilberry a go as I've been thinking about trying it then if no success I'll try clay. Is there any you recommend?

yup can still see it thought when i next wash it wil post pics soon as :)

Hope it isn't as bad as mine. I can stand quite far away and still see :( looking at new alloys but not much success :(
