But interior is nice. New onboard computer, seats (but not those white patches), glossy black trims. I quite like the interior.

Will people realise its still the same shoddy interior?

It's like mick the plumber taking off one slightly frumpy dress to replace it with a slightly nicer dress. It's still the same and shocking

Ok, so I've just seen the pictures on RenaultSport.co.uk

Now I thought the pictures of the new RS model I'd seen with the current 17" rims were just like pre-press release shots. You know like the early Twingo shots showing similar rims to the Clio 182.

Well I've noticed the new 133 has exactly the same rims!!! Does that not really seem like a bit of a design cop out? Also, they don't really seem to suit the car that well. Don't get me wrong, I reckon they're one of the nicest OEM designs but couldn't they have gone for a new fresh look to the rims?
I believe from what I've read over there before that there's a new 16" design coming for the non-cup wheels, which has not been publicly shown off yet.

Thing is, most people go for the Cup chassis anyway so I reckon they should have put the effort into giving us a fresh Cup wheel design.

Perhaps they're wanting to leave the 17" design alone as it's been so popular, and want to make the 16" option (Which holds a wider range of replacement tyres, and of course the tyres will provide a little more give and slightly lower tendency to suffer from curbing) a more popular choice.

Yeah I know what you mean, the current Cup rim is really popular and like I say it's a great looking OEM wheel.

Thing is though, it's an 'old' style on a new car. Just seems a bit lazy. Let's face it, rightly or wrongly, all the reviews will be edging towards the Cup chassis so the new design of non-Cup wheel seems a bit of a waste.

Even the pictures on the website show the Cup wheels!

Apparently though, the new variant of the engine produces better economy and fuel consumption although the official figures look virtually the same.

Yup . As we have said the whole Facelift is lazy, not addressing the cars faults (interior) and slapping a new face on.

Wonder what they have done to lower the emissions of the RS

Cotton wool in the exhaust probably! haha

Thing is I don't mind a faceliift if it's just that. I mean the 182 was a slightly facelifted 182. Look at the Phase I Megane 225 to the Phase II. Phase II got a smiley front bumper, different tail lights and different coloured interior lights. That was about it but neither model claims to be radically new from what I recall. This 'new' Twingo just isn't! haha

One for you AFTA....

Maybe they've realised it's fugly and optimism is the only way they'll shift units....

I can't believe that. So so bad

I'm with 99% of the guys on here and agree that they have ruined the Twingo with the facelift re-design. The problem with the current 133 was that the front looked awesome and it just required "something" changed on the rear. They have changed the rear and it looks good from the back (So much so I wanna know if the new rear will fit onto the old 133) but WFT have they done to the front?

I don't even like the rear! I think the current model just needs a diffuser to look cool and maybe the silverstone rs badges.
