As post, what 1/4 mile times u guys getting as I read a post saying they make 16.odd 1/4 times and surely they will beat that as standard??

Perhaps if you had a remap to remove the initial 'bogging down' and flat spots you might be able to with perfect shifts. But it seems about right with fluids to me

Mine from a couple of Sundays ago at Crail, highlighted was my fastest. Was in the wet, too.

16.8 in the wet is a decent time imo, intake, exhaust, remap, slicks (I am assuming Funky_d used road tyres), stiffer suspension and lower surely could be seeing low 16s if not 15s?!

I'm not a fan of slicks like the car to be road going if u kno what I mean but I need to get to crail to see what I can get but exhaust ind kit suspension good tyres stripped is as far as ill go with the current engine in it as I won't tune it. There's loads of Saab 2.0 turbos by me popping up cheap and i wondering if I should buy 1, strip all parts I would need and have that engine put into my car, then tune to 250-300. I'd recon 3.5k max would have u a scary fast twingo and easy 14 sec car.

Closer to 13 seconds i'd be thinking, i know a few corsa b's that run high 11 - low 12s running 350bhp from a c20let

Anyway what ever I do it will be from next year. It would be awesome to have Scotland's fastest twingo if I went down that route :D

My 16.8 was in a sort of half wet, just starting to rain track, standard car with road tyres, TCS off, all had done to it is a panel filter and I'd taken the spare wheel out. Could easily see it do late 14s with map, exhaust, stripped, etc

Depends what you're putting it into, you have to remember the Clet is 15+ Years older then the Zlet

High 14s would be good, end of the day, if you want something for straight line speed you'd be better looking at something small forced induction (VXR, JCW, etc) Twingo is a lot better in the twisties!

Twingo is awesome in corners gives my mates vxr a run for its money till we hit the straights. I'm wanting a proper sleeper as everyone knows vxr's ect are fast and twingos are slow. Imagine a twingo passing u at 145 mph, ud be stunned!

And banned from driving if you get caught because there's not exactly any racetracks in the UK where you can go these speeds?
Don't forget a decent sized fine of up to £2500 and even an all expences holiday thrown in if its done as Dangerous driving ;)
