I was gonna suggest Avon Dasset Hills on the Oxfordshire-Warwickshire border, can often get some good photos up there if its not too busy (at this time of year it's usually quiet). There is a pub nearby but I've not been there in years (it got a rat infestation and I've never been back since lol) although there is a pub the other side of the hills which I've heard is quite nice.
You're not really supposed to drive on the grass much but loads of people do it lol. Here's a photo of mine and Tom (TomBobs) cars on there

Edit: in response to Karl's new post, yeah that was Upper Heyford disused petrol station, I'm up for going back there if everyone else is There's a photo thread on here somewhere if you want to see what it's like.

weren't me who suggested Heyford lol it was Karl. I only suggested Avon Dassett Hills cos maggi said between Oxford & London, so I thought that was close enough. I don't really know Bristol/the west country that well but by all means organise a meet down your way at some point mate I'll be happy to attend lol
