Just wondering because I have had mine less than a week and a small dent has appeared on the edge of the bonnet.

Took it to local body repair place and they said can't be removed from under side so £250 for full bonnet re spray. So the dent stays!!!

Not visible from all but a few angles so I'll have to live with it. I just wondered how many of you have dents in yours? I must be unlucky as haven't had any in previous cars.

could be from stone chip damage?

I repainted my front details couple of weeks ago and they're already showing signs of damage

Downside of doing alot of highway kilometres..

It's not more prone than any other car that I'm aware of.

It's a bit slab fronted but the whole front is plastic so that's not likely to be dented by stones and stuff. Sadly you can't really prevent dents from day to day use, it's amazing how things appear though and you think 'Where the f*ck did that come from' :(

Speed dents, speaking from experience Karl ;)
cant be, a car needs to move to gain those

Ill have you know it moved last night. Ask Matt and Elly they saw it.

But like said above im thinking maybe stone chip caused the dent

I'm just unlucky!
Must of had a stone hit & didn't notice.

It does p###s me off though, the problem is when you have a nice shiny new (ish) car every little thing really shows up where as when I was young and had old bangers I didn't really care.

Oh, and I am an extreme perfectionist when it comes to cars and cleaning etc. (think they call it obsessive/compulsive he he)

Do you have a picture of such dent? Or if you can't see it in the photo, could you circle where it is?
Mine had a dent on the edge of the bonnet when I first got and Renault sorted it for me.

Do what I do clean cover leave clean cover leave lol
most of the people on here use there cars more than the odd couple of times a month so that's not easily done

Not sure if you can see it properly but if you scan with your eye just above Renault badge then to your left its sort of half moon shaped right at the edge where bonnet meets bumper.

Is that similar to damage Renault fixed?

Ps its not all that dark patch that's shadow! Thought i would mention.

Dent ends just where bottom of shadow is.

Mine was as indicated on the picture (not my car ).

I'm not sure if the dent man will be able to get to yours due to it being so near the edge. I'll have a look on the other side of my bonnet and get back to you.

Cheers.
I have asked my local dent guy for a quote this morning.
I'm just not sure they will do it as there doesn't appear to be access to the rear. But worth a try

There are little holes that you can stick a tool through.

I'm going to see dent repair guy next Saturday. He seems to think he can sort it or at least make it less.

Thanks for your help
