Am I right in thinking that ff 133 comes with auto lights and wipers ? Or is it an option ?

the FF comes with them yes

easy ways to tell:

look at your rear view mirror from the outside.. is there a sensor
look at your wiper blades..on the bits which connect the blades to the arms..are there sensors there?

if yes then it has them, its just a case of turning the setting on :)

auto wipers: move the wiper stalk down one from the top position
auto lights: move the lights switch from 0 to side lights and back again twice until a noise is heard.

hope this helps.

They have changed the specification on all twingos now, im sure auto lights and wipers have been cut from the list for the GT and ff RS and are not an option anymore :( but pre 60 plate should have them

Mines an 11 plate. No sensor in the windscreen, sommust not come with them anymore. Tbh I'd rather not have them less to go wrong.

If im honest with you... i don't use or like the auto wipers... they either don't work enough... or work too much.

i like the auto lights though

Yea just looked, they have been deleted completely off the spec list so either must not have sold well as an option or proved to prone to not working though my mums RS 250 has them and they work perfectly and look cool with the little eye on the windscreen lol

I really expected to dislike the auto lights and wipers, had a bit of a dislike for them before having really used them on a car. But I quite like the ones on the 133. Think I've managed to get mine set to a level I'm quite happy with, so is all good :D

Though I was going mad as it's got air con and split rear seats so I knew it wasn't a cup model. Just nice and basic like my old 106 rallye.

ive become lazy since driving the 133.

the amount of times i get in my Dads or Grandads car and forget to turn lights on or wipers is unreal

i like them if im honest

I've never had an issue with either on the 133 or the 182. I leave them both on auto all the time.

Also both run off the same light sensor. The lights are turned on when dark (obviously) but also the wipers are switched on when the surface area of the sensor is covered by rain droplets that cast a shadow.

I love my auto wipers and lights, but it does annoy me when the lights come on in petrol stations, makes me look special :)

Haha mine does this, they also come on if I get stopped at the traffic lights under a bridge on my way from work :p

The wipers have been perfect though I leave them on all the time and they only ever come on when needed

This may sound condescending (I really hope it doesn't) but the adjuster does make all the difference. Mine where like yours before I set the adjuster.

No problem. It's the little twisty bit on the end of the wiper stalk. It has like a broken line shaped like an arrow (ish) wrapped around it. You can twist it; one way is sensitive and the other way is less sensitive. I am assuming (and I can't see why it would ever change) that you car is the same as mine.

The auto lights seem to be spot on, far better than the ones on the megane, which seem to simply turn on at 6pm.

Im yet to find a setting that works on the auto wipers, even on the lowest setting, i find they come on too easily

Think I know which bit you mean Al. I'll have a fiddle and see if I can get them working properly, Cheers!
