Think I know which bit you mean Al. I'll have a fiddle and see if I can get them working properly, Cheers!

No problem! One thing I did notice straight away from the 182 to the 133 was that they have refined all those controls over the models (they use exactly the same parts) and on the 133 they are now far better made and built. The 182 was always a bit temperamental with the wipers, but the 133 works far better.

If im honest with you... i don't use or like the auto wipers... they either don't work enough... or work too much.

I LOVE the auto-wipers, and for me they work just about perfectly.

Have you tried playing with the speed control for the intermittent? - that might just get you to a speed setting you lile

Or maybe we just get a different kind of rain up here

The wipers have been perfect though I leave them on all the time and they only ever come on when needed

i`m the same i never turn mine off

Mine come on too fast when its spitting, not enough when its hammering down, they are so inconsistant its unreal

This may sound condescending (I really hope it doesn't) but the adjuster does make all the difference. Mine where like yours before I set the adjuster.

Adjuster? Can tell I'm not that 'into' my auto wipers that I didnt even know they could be adjusted

How retarded do I seem now! :(

No problem. It's the little twisty bit on the end of the wiper stalk. It has like a broken line shaped like an arrow (ish) wrapped around it. You can twist it; one way is sensitive and the other way is less sensitive. I am assuming (and I can't see why it would ever change) that you car is the same as mine.

My reply below !
That's right it is a load of broken lines goes thin to thick thin is less sensitive and thicker is more sensitive also if you turn them on and there not moving fast enough just turn it more to a thicker line and they go more quickly

Also, not sure if anyone else has noticed. If the water has built up and the auto wipers haven't noticed.

Twist the sensitivity adjustment thingy one click back and then forward and the wipers do one sweep. Saves clicking the lever up and down again.

Yup noatest that to :)

Auto smearing. when a few bug spats are on the screen, but not enough to bother you, then a splat over the sensor triggers the auto wipe, leaving you with a smeared mess untill you can get the wash to clear it all.
