I have to flick it between the settings quickly or it doesn't work.
Try doing it quicker

I found the only way to reset them to make the auto function work properly again is to switch the engine off (to position 0 or key out) then restart the car. Don't know if this is the same issue or if it helps at all?Blondie":3fcqu2ol said:I turned miine off by accident too, its much easier to turn off than on in my opinion! Anyone got any idea why my automatic wipers come on ... even when its bright sunshine and I have the roof off (also happens in bright sunshine with the roof on haha!)
Because, when it confuses a bug for rain it turns a few small bug splats which you could quite happily see past and drive with into a streaky film of goo across the screen.Blondie":1oumrnnq said:if the car has the function why wouldn't I use it!!

I'll try the "turning them back on" method this evening and let all know if that worked.
It's not that i cant drive without them, by why have a car that has the feature and then not have it working?
Ahh well thanks all for the responses

I have no idea how i turned them off but just glad they are working again. So thanks all
Is your rear view mirror stuck straight onto the windscreen, or is there a large surround covering the mounting, which contains the sensors (the sensors can be seen from the outside of the screen)XNicolalaX":1lw8lh9b said:I will keep trying!
