.............. bar dropped off at 68.6 miles i got Rachel to take a picture of the miles we had traveled today.

See the 133's are good on fuel!

So this was taken on 65.0 miles.

I usually get 74.5 out of the first bar, i don't drive crazy i roughly drive at constant 65mph only because of the traffic i do a 68 mile round trip.

Since i got the car i always got my fuel from ASDA because it was the cheapest around, however i was 20 miles into my last bar (i always set my mileage back to zero when i hear the beep) and had no option but to pull into Tesco and fill up, i put in just over 37L with a few clicks as always, i was driving down to london the same day i filled up and i got less than 35 miles out of the first bar and roughly the same from the second bar, i hadnt changed my driving style at all, could filling up from Tesco have caused that???

thats prob still the fuel that you got the garage to throw in when you bought the car :p :p

did you brim the tank up right to the top? i mean right to the top... it can take a fair while to brim the tank... i find if i dont then the first fuel bar is lost soon after fueling.

Speaking of that I kinda overfuelled the other day... Petrol started pouring out the tank! Told the attendant the pump must be dodgy as he now has a litre of petrol on the floor and he didn't seem to care... Meh!

My fuelly is currently at 29.8, best I have had is 37 over a tank, worst was 25. That's all in town heavy traffic and country road blasts

One click? Well thats not to bad then! must have had a very steady drive.

45-50 all the way up the M40  Didnt want to get splattered in bugs

I've never realy noticed the mileage of the first bar, but it is certainly less than 65.

Recently, I have kept a record for the the fuel going in for the past 1258 miles, which was a run down to Glasgow and back, Aberdeen and back, then the trip down to Trax. Generaly not hanging about if you know what i mean.

Average of 33.95mpg :)

What you don't see is he did 30mph for 100 miles then sped up for the photo :p

But seriously, what speed were you averaging to get that?!
