Dodo juice isn't that good (I've a draw full of the stuff). Plenty better stuff out there. I like dodo juice waxes though but everything else is a bit meh

Agreed. When you know Dom and PJ's backgrounds are in computers and marketing, and not car cleaning products or chemistry...

The Core 8 waxes are good. Supernatural (when it was in a wooden pot) felt special enough to justify. But now, nothing's moved on. Similarly, I find autofinesse products have a LOT of hype, and not a single one of their products makes me go 'wow' that I've tried.

Dodo Juice is decent enough stuff but as said the guys that started the company don't specialise in detailing but have marketed their products extremely well.

Also when you see the prices that Dodo Juice costs the retailer the mark up prices are purely to make it a premium product. To give you an example a plastic pot of Supernatural cost me £40 and that was still £5 over the price it cost my mate as a supplier, they expect you to sell it for £65, almost double!

Autofinesse is the same story, products that have been marketed as premium yet come from the same labs as cheaper products.

A friend of mine is starting up his own brand, Serious Detailing. He sells a sealant for £12 it's made in the same lab as Autofinesse's own sealant and is a lot cheaper. It's no frills and not all glamorous but it's on par and he still makes money on each bottle at a lot less than Autofinesse charge.

Best thing is to spend all your money on all of them to try them all

A few of us are subscribed to waxybox which is a good way to try new products for reasonably small outlay, if that's your thing

Waxybox is awesome! I got my first box last week.

The banana air fresher was worth the money alone although everyone else thinks it smells of sick

Ive got the Dodo Juice Supernatural car shampoo and im not impressed by it one bit.
Ive chucked in on the back shelf in the garage and resorted to staying with the old faithful Zymol.

Only other shampoo I really like is the AutoSmart Duet which is a wash n wax sort of product.
Rain beads off really weld with that. And cheap as anything at £12 for 2.5litre from my Autosmart rep.

Dodo juice born to be mild shampoo is good

Definitely agree with that, being concentrated you don't use much of it either but plenty of bubbles and slickness in the water.

Supernatural Shampoo is an interesting one. Many people love it, but others aren't as keen because it's not as foamy as some shampoos on the market. This is basically because it's full of high quality ingredients, rather than cheap foaming and bulking agents. Here is the manufacturer's description, which explains this in more depth:

Supernatural Shampoo contains no bulking agents, thickeners, slickeners or unnecessary foaming agents to make it feel like a 'good' shampoo. It does, however, contain a careful pH-balanced blend of surfactants and organic/inorganic cleansers to help it clean paintwork thoroughly without affecting pre-existing wax layers or leaving a nasty residue. Foamy, lubricious and naturally concentrated (1:1500 with water) it also contains limescale inhibitors, sheeting (rinse) enhancers and anti-static agents to ensure it offers the highest levels of performance.

Dodo Juice Born to be Mild and Sour Power are much more conventional shampoos in terms of foaming levels, but still contain extremely high quality ingredients. If you don't get on with Supernatural Shampoo, I'd definitely recommend giving one of these a try.

Dodo Juice Tarmalade (available in 30ml and 200ml) and Supernatural Tar & Glue Remover Spray are both excellent tar removers. They are also both very nice to use (and smell amazing), which is very rare for tar removers (most smell awful).

i'll have to try some of that tar remover got quite annoyed saturday when i was sitting there for at least 5 mins trying to get it off

I used 99p home bargains wash and wax a little bit of elbow grease and a stage 3 wax it depends a lot on how you wash and dry it, don't really see the need for all this fancy stuff unless your car is in a real state, mine came out lovely, see picture...
