To be honest I think they install alarms on the UK as a standard because there is a higher rate of something happening to your car compared to the rest of Europe :?

If I leave my windows down and I double lock my car, after 5 minutes the alarm goes off even if know one is near the car, anyone else got the same? Pretty frustrating when it used to be sunny in UK....

Surely it's meant to do that? I'd want the alarm to go off if I'd left my windows down. I know when the girlfriend has stayed in the car while I've nipped in the shop, I've accidently double locked the car. I came out to her hiding in her seat with the alarm going off and she couldn't open the doors to get out haha

Haha I did that to my lass when I was at the petrol station I had nout but evil looks all the way home lol

Haha I did that to my lass when I was at the petrol station I had nout but evil looks all the way home lol

I admit I've done the same thing as well although my mate almost had a panic attack over it lol. Was parked at the petrol station and did the same thing and double locked the car without thinking. But nearby two cars collided within the limits of the station so naturally it made her jump and at that exact point the alarm went off, whooops! Needless to say made up for it after watching one of those awful soppy films!
