need too sort out insurance, the company im with dont have it on there system yet! hahahaha. they said they would phone me 2mo too sort it! lol
but if all else fails, ile cancel wit them, have too pay £30 cancel fee and loose 6 months no claims.

but will be worth it!lol

Erm if the current company won't add it to their books I would argue the fee personally

Loooks very nice! You must be chuffed wid it!

Yeah insurance company can't charge u for their failings (I work in it btw) if they try put a complaint in once u get their decision tell em ur going to the FOS and they will be charged like 500 quid for it lol

With Renault when buying a new car you should get a free drive away 7 days insurance.

Doesn't this depend on the age of the buyer?

I dont think so as when I got mine I was offered it. no mention of age etc just sign and your covered for 7 days until you find an insurance company I think, thats basically how the guys explained it to me.

I got my drive away insurance in 2007 4 years ago when i was 19 and in 2008 when i was 20 on my GT and finally in 2009 at 21 when i got my RS.

So i dont think there is a age limit as you can then Ring them up and get a Insurance policy with them.

Oo right ok,

I just remember when i got the corsa they wouldn't cover me due to my age (18) at the time.

But i guess different companies use different insurers etc!

7 Days free driveaway insurance could get you a week's worth of time to sort it. (so you dont *have* to rush)

does this policy mean i need to go with aviva after the 7 days?
and it also need some sort of reference number from the dealer it says. does any1 know what that is?
ta

I used the one when I got my car back in January. From what I'm aware there was no age limit as such.

The dealer number is literally just an identifier number for the dealer so that your policy can be sent through to them (as proof you have cover). If you ring up your dealer, one of the sales guys or the sales manager should be able to give it to you.

And no, you don't have to continue with aviva. They'll ring you up and offer you the quote to continue for a year, but you can just turn it down if you want to.

i didnt take the seven day cover as i had already sorted insurance, but it was offered. and it age shouldnt matter coz i was only 18 when i had my seat ibiza..
