I realise this is a dumb question but hey...... I have just bought a Twingo 133 (Red with Anthracite - Looks amazing!) and the front tyres will need replacing before winter kicks in. 195/45/17s are not only a pain in the bum to find but they also cost more. So, will it be ok to leave the 195/45/17 Contis on the back but replace the front tyres with 205/40/17s?

Much Appreciated in advance.

Swap em. Newest and widest on the back.

Will probably result in a little more understeer but I would bet you wouldn't notice (I barely noticed). Safest option

Welcome :)

Agree with James re:swapping

Additionally, aren't the standard tyres for the cup wheels 195/40/17?! The 16" non cup wheels are 195/45/16
