I spend more time driving my car than cleaning it ;) my arches were not that clean when I bought it!

Alex... lets be honest now. Them wheel arches... ;) didn't you have just a little bit of help?! :p

I did indeed, never claimed to do it myself though! ;)

Having said that having seen a pro do the job and talking with him about techniques, I'd have the confidence to do the job myself.

Lol fair enough! I just dived in and started doing it after seeing it in the studio :p First thing happening to mine is a wheel off detail and some protection being added as I said, I wish I could keep a car in concourse condition but it's a daily drive and I hvae no garage :( i love your 225!

that megane is kept amazing! i want to be the person that has it after u

Thank you mate, that is a big compliment.

Thing is I never intended to make it the way it is, bought it as a daily car but was commuting by train to work so it was for weekends only.

Then, with the plan to move out I bought a cheap runabout (£600 Renault 5) about 6 months after I bought the Megane. Also had the opportunity to drive two other cars so with the Megane covered I tended to just jump in another car. Not long after I moved out and had a nice dry garage so she's been stored ever since and only used on nice dry, summer days. Hence the condition and mileage.

Thing is what with the Phase II and R26 models coming out after I bought mine, it was never going to hold it's value even in this condition. So I thought I'd just hold onto it and if possible make it concourse.

The only trouble is though, I don't think you'd be able to keep a daily runner in that kind of condition without washing it every day. I mean those arches on the Megane have stayed like that because it's only driven in the dry. Having said that, there's no reason for a daily car to not be mint in every other way and be clean most of the time.
