I drove a standard corsa b 1.2 to leeds and back in one go once. Ruined me.

Steering was left. Ish. And right. Ish. Brakes were able to stop the car. Ish.

Never understood how anyone could hop in one and think 'this is okay, good base to mod'

Mine was first car and hadn't drove much else, first thing i did was suspension and brakes as they were the worrying things!

Lol. I find mk4-5 golf drivers have the biggest chips on their shoulders by comparison to mk1-3

I pulled along side a corsa c one side and a pug 107 the other not long back. The corsa revved and so did the pug. So I revved back, with what was clearly the nicer sounding note. Lights went green. I pulled away in a socially acceptable fashion. They did not. They clearly didn't see the police car further along the ring road :lol: I arrived at my destination much quicker than I expect one of them did

After coming out the Renault garage there was a corsa sat next to us at the lights reving his engine. Once the lights go green he wheel spins and drives off, just a shame he hit traffic and went nowhere! What a twit.

A colleague of mine recently replaced his 1.8L Corsa SRI, that had the advantage of being bloody quick but it didn't look like it. Of course then you've got the turbonutter VXR..

I've heard that the Vauxhall Adam (silly name, named after Adam Opel) is getting a VXR version. That sounds like it could be pants-shittingly terrifying!

Not intending to do some mass tarring with the same brush here, but I find that the people who drive like that are usually driving a brand new "Limited" edition Corsa in white with the black wheels + roof. Might just be my area though...

Yeah that's the ones! You also get them in black, yellow and "chilli orange" but the numpties only seem interested in the white ones lol. Mainly middle aged women that drive the other coloured ones I've found haha!

Cheap to lease/pcp, cheap to insure and has A VXR esque body kit. I can see why they're everywhere. Agree they often drive like muppets though.

To be fair the corsa Ltd editions are a nice drive. Suspension is stiffer and lower and they corner rather well and they're faster than a regular 1.2 but they're just so common now.
