Davey: cheers mate might have to enquire, not wanting to spend rediculous amounts though, supposed to be saving up to go to america on holiday next year :$

Dubz: i did look on youtube but didnt find those vids cheers! Ill have to have a look underneath at what ive got..

Ghostz: that. Is. Nice. What kind of system/spec is that exhaust?

I pressume only a backbox will do if its just sound that you want. If de-catted it might make too much noise for the horsepower you car has (no offence).

the company that did garys is called "Hi Q" mike.

also, if you do want noise and only noise just get a back box? i dont fully understand what you want?!

my move would be, find out which cat would fit i.e a 182 cat or something less restrictive than standard and just get a cat back.
would sound the absolute nuts and is still fully legal.

ugetmelol?

Yeslol! Just depends on price though... If money was no option would get full stainless system and sports cat!

Mike find out if there are any other cats that fit (smaller obviously) see where that takes you :)

you could pick up a 182 cat (second-hand) which i wouldnt recommend, for about £100+

and just to reitterate what ive said and what adam said. find out if there is a smaller (cheaper) sprts cat or standard cat that fits that will be less retrictive!

as for fitting it you dont need to worry about that - ill sort you out :)

ask Hi Q if theres a better cat that'll fit! ill ring you latert and come see you tomorrow and we can talk it out haha

Dont bother with the sports cat, its an unnecessary cost and if you decat youll have to replace at MOT time, not a massive problem but its there.

Get a freeflowing cat back exhaust, same silencers as you have already and youll get a nice noise.

Have you contacted Blueflame at Skelmersdale??

Blueflame are really good! not too far from you really Mike, i'd be up for them pricing up an exhaust for me as well if you head over there!

Well ive just contacted the hi-q place round the corner from me pretty much.. He said roughly £350 for a full stainless, depending on bends and how many boxes there are and what tip..

Mike he said go in tomorrow and ask for phil i think, and he can give me a better idea of price and a chat about sounds and stuff, you can acompany me!

you aint driving hard enough mike!

the RS exhaust has silencers on it, and it's already pretty quiet as standard. that's the last thing he'd want to do to his car, he did say he wants noise but a nice noise not a chavvy noise!
