Has anyone seen or heard of this? i have noticed a slimiar topic but mines different.

Started the other day the water in fuel light with the service light illuminating when driving when over 3000rpm or over half throttle puting the vehicle into a restricted performance will not allow you above 3000rpm lack of power. Engine appears to run fine without obvious missfire. If you cycle the ignition the lights turns off.

Im confused as its not an auto nor a diesel reading the owners handbook saw it would be related to the ECU, Connecting a OBD2 DTC reader read no codes present so it does not seem emissions related.

Worse this morning i was driving on the local ring road warning lamps lit continued driving for a while the car jolted and TC light came on each time i would touch the thottle with very little input my car would accelerate like i was in a high rev range but i was only doing 40mph in 5th. this worried me abit! the car is booked in with a friend for friday if he can't find anything i guess renault it is altough my local dealer can bearly diagnose a noise which i even tell them how and where to get the noises after 3 visits and top mounts rework still on going!

Obd2 reader may not pick it up. I'd have a live diagnostics done. That will bring it up. Otherwise electrically your shooting in dark.

My friend owns his own local garage i believe he has good diagnostic machines better than the random code reader i was using!, If not i will take to a renault dealer or specialist. If they find anything i will post it on here i thought this may be a strange one!
