My Dilemma of the Day - Do I spend a buttload of money on new Polishes, sealants and washes to complete the Chemical Guys collection or do I just still with Turtle Wash, AGs SR Polish, No Sealant and then Chemical Guys XXX Wax?

If it's at work, go home early and blame the cleaners. If it's your laptop, call your insurance. If it's just a home keyboard, unplug it, give it a rinse in clean water and let it fully dry out

its works and i have no chance of escaping the coffee has gone into the keyboard and into a file I have worked on for the last 2.5 years!!! Lucky its all in plastic sleeves so only the ends are wet. BALLS!!!!!!!

Thank-you. That has been haunting me every time this page loads.

And a laptop can possibly be saved if it's turned off straight away after the incident. Managed to save a couple after others had spilt coffee over them at my previous work. The keyboard's act as a little dish for a short while - so if you can turn it off and get the keyboard out asap, you can sometimes get away with just a keyboard replacement.

Funniest version: One co-worker had made a fancy coffee for another, came into the room to give it to them and said, "hey, look at this" just before the handle slipping and pouring a good proportion of the mug over the laptop beneath. Classic moment.

Its not a laptop just a standard keyboard.
After tipping out the coffee I've run an air gun over it, hopefully that has got most of it out. It's now left upside down to dry. Fingers crossed it will work monday if not I'm going to have a long chat with munich that morning

if the coffee has sugar in it then your probably fooked!!

least its only a standard plug in keyboard though. easily replaced

Being just black coffee, it could survive. If it doesn't, just don't mention the coffee unless they ask if it has had a soaking. Inocent girlie moment...It just doesn't work Although the safest bet is to fess up about the coffee as accidents happen occasionaly

R.I.P keyboard I finally grew some balls and got onto IT. Started the process of getting a new one, which btw is a task in itself. Took all of 5 mins after the 30 minute call for the news to reach the responsible manager and for him to be down in my office demanding to know what I had done!!

Needless to say I have been put on the naughty step!!!
