Anyone else had or having a problem with there drivers seat??? As mine won't stop creaking .. I had a similar problem in my 197 recaros £850 option that took Renault 11 months to replace..
& it's on it's lowest setting & still feels like I'm driving a bus..
Love the car but this is driving me mad..........

Been in the dealers once already & guess what .... The seat would not creak . Then the next day started again.. & now worse than ever.. So back to the stealers I think..

My went in Monday cos it rocks like a rockin horse a new seat is getting fitted tuesday :)

Mine's squeaking like buggery, really annoying! Just posted about it before i saw this thread. I thought it might be the cold weather. Have you now managed to get this sorted? Did the warranty cover it?

It's been back 4 times now.. Still not fixed. I see Renault still make s##t seats... & is going back in again at the start of march !!! Not bad only had the car 6 weeks..
Mind you my 182 went back 8 times the 197 17 times & the meg 225 once.. I see this car not staying with me long!!!

Mines a 59 plate & I bought it used from the local stealer.. Trust me it will start falling apart I've owned enough Renault sports to know that... Lol great cars when they work but a pain in the arse when they play up..

Same here mate bought mine on a 10 plate and in the 5 months I've had it I've taken it back loads of times

I've never had a problem mechanical with any of my Renault sports .. Just stupid things & bits falling off .. & loads of problems with there seats.. There just the worst parts of there cars..

No squeaks after standing 10hrs in -20C. Then again never had the problem at all, in whatever temp.

It made me panic the first night I saw it. I was expecting one of Gareths associates :?

-20c. Now thats just showing off to the southerners who think -10 is cold

i have this problem with my 60plate clio which I am giving back tomorrow and picking up my 133.

it has been in 3 times about the seat and every time they have stripped it down and greased everything but it still does it. Last time they said the seat belt (the bit down at your side you click into) had dropped slightly and was rubbing on the seat bracket. They supposedly moved it and re-tightened. The next day it went back to how it was. On my local housing estate I tried driving with no seatbelt (quiet place) and there was no squeak. Also, with my seatbelt on, if you drive and with your left hand put some pressure on top of the seatbelt unit at your side, the squeak stops. So I think Renault were right with the problem they found but obviously it's not solved.
