goes for assesment tomorrow only thing that concerns me now is the possibility of it being written off for not a great amount off damage if it totals more tham 60% of the vehicle value for the cost of repair i estimate the cost of this would be around £4000 sounds alot but not when you take off a weeks labour charge the cost of paint and the cost of a new bumper from reanult
if you really really want to keep the car you can sometimes be offered other options - when out ka (2011 reg) got written off they said if we opted for it to be repaired with second hand parts we could keep the same car.. as it happens we opted to just have the payout and get petty much the exact same car . (bit different as a bog standard ka isnt as hard to find as a nice twingo like yours).
either way - if they do come back as a write off - you dont just have to accept it, there are other options in some situations
